After a three-year break from in-person gatherings, the Glastonbury Symposium very successfully returned at the end of July 2022…

Not only did the 2022 Symposium turn out to be a fantastic event, with the perfect mix of eclectic and extraordinary speakers and subjects, but it was also a sellout! On top of this, for the very first time we also welcomed a whole extra layer of live streaming attendees from around the world.

With some innovations and a new look, the joy at being back together in the beautiful environs of Glastonbury Town Hall was palpable and it is hard to imagine having had a better event. A full report with photos will appear on these pages in due course, but for now, here are just a few of the glowing testimonies we have received from some very satisfied attendees…

WOW, WOW and WOW again!!! Fabulous. Huge success. Amazing. Thank you to all you wonderful people who made such a success of the weekend. The hard work is truly appreciated by those of us on the receiving end of your endeavours. Always smiling, always cheerful, always making us very happy – Sally

Thank you for organizing an absolutely thrilling and very educative (even somewhat overwhelming) Symposium! I have learnt a lot over the past days and got to know an absolutely lovely community. I hope to see everyone else again in Glastonbury next year – Lars

Heaven only knows how much organising this event takes but you absolutely nailed it!  I’ve been to so many conferences/events over the last 10 years and nothing has come near; I had high expectations but those expectations were blown out of the water. I am sure I will be buzzing for a month! Amazing weekend – I loved every minute and am looking forward to next year – Duncan

What a great Symposium and so well executed. You did, yet again, a great job with great content. I’m really glad you decided to put this year back on the agenda and it really does need to be here to stay. I’m already looking forward to seeing what you do next year – Graham

Thank you for a wonderful packed schedule of interesting talks and a lovely venue. I was particularly taken by the eclectic mix and open-minded views freely expressed. Looking forward to next year’s Symposium with gratitude and appreciation – Emma

I just wanted to thank you for putting together such a fantastic Symposium – has to have been one of the best. The speakers were of such a high calibre – Kim

I want to thank you enormously for the incredible weekend you put on for us. I have been living overseas for the last few years, so being able to attend the event online was such a blessing for me … I want to thank you sincerely for everything that you do to make these events possibleKirby

… And here are some kind comments from some of our speakers! –

It was another hugely fulfilling and uplifting event which I was happy to be a part of. I speak at multiple conferences a year and the military precision with which you run the timekeeping doesn’t even come close to being equalled anywhere else! – Mark Devlin

Thanks so much for inviting me to speak again, it was a great weekend! – Dave Hodrien

I was very pleased with the way it worked out … I felt very supported by the crew and staff. May the Symposium continue to shine for many a year – Ravi Freeman

Thank you, for an amazing platform, a beautiful stay and a magical experience. What a pleasure it was to share space with such an eclectic and electric group! – Mary Helen Hensley

Thank you so much for hosting such a well organised event as usual. It is one of the reasons Sky and I are always so eager to take part, because you and your team make it all so effortless for us to do so – Todd & Sky Acamesis

Thank you very much for looking after me so well when I came to Glastonbury. It was a large and lovely audience, and the technical equipment worked perfectly, but your own kindness to me was the best part of all – Ronald Hutton
